I’m a former comedian who entered the field of psychology after working as an entertainer in nursing homes, where I observed a strong relationship between laughter, resilience and healing. I’ve written 21 books detailing my experiences integrating laughter into my work, and I firmly believe that we can all learn to incorporate more humour into our lives. Although we are confronted by grief, change, and loss, I also believe we have choices as to how we are going to respond to these things. I strive to help others incorporate humour into the way they make these emotional choices
