Workers’ Compensation Claim / Motor Vehicle Claim
At Positive Mind Works, we accept WorkCover, WorkSafe and TAC Claims. compensation schemes ensure that a person who has suffered a injury that is work-related is compensated for any medical expenses, missed earnings or other associated costs. It also helps to assist those injured to return to work safely at a later date. If you wish to use this funding, please ensure that our team are made aware of this at the time of booking.
How does it work?
We will need to evidence of your claim approval from your insurance company in the form of an acceptance claim certificate that you were likely provided with at the time of your claim approval.
Please forward a copy of this claim certification over to our reception team on reception@positivemindworks.co.
In addition, a referral from your treating GP is usually required by your insurer to prove the reason for attendance at our clinic is related to your claim.
Once we have all the funding details on file, you will be offered an appointment with one of our psychologists who’s experience best matches your area of concerns. Our psychologists are fully registered and can offer appointments within 1-2 days. We have no current waitlist.
Please note, in circumstances where your insurer has not agreed to provide funding for an open claim, you as the client will be responsible for any incurred appointment fees. In addition, Workcover, WorkSafe and TAC do not fund any missed appointments or late cancellations. As a result, should you fail to attend a session or cancel inside our 48-hour cancellation policy window, you will be required to pay the fee, which is 50% of the session cost.
If your funding is declined, you may wish to explore other funding options, such as obtaining a Mental Health Care Plan and referral from your GP. For further information on funding, please speak to a member of our reception team.
